He probably did not have a very happy Valentine's Day.
Stomper Ng has spent about $10,000 on dating agencies with nothing - or no one - to show for it.
"I am a guy who has joined dating agencies since 2013 but still cannot find a partner," said the 41-year-old security officer.
"I have joined many speed-dating events by agencies such as CompleteMe, Love Express, Fabrique Love, GaiGai, and Dating Moments.
"I have also joined expensive one-to-one matches by Lunch Actually."
He believed the reason he couldn't find a partner was because he often saw the same women at those events.
"I don't mind dating older girls, but they are not interested in dating younger guys. They didn't want to contact me once they found out they were older than me," lamented the Stomper.
"I am also a low-income earner. So, many girls who earned more than me did not want to contact me after they found out. I also don't have the habit of smiling, so I think they found me unfriendly."
What kind of woman is he looking for?
"I am not fussy in finding a partner," he said, "as long as she is decent-looking and don't mind that I am a low-income earner. It means when we go out, it's likely we will have to go dutch most of the time.
"I don't mind if she is a Singaporean or foreigner. I am also okay if she is a divorcee or widow."
Asked what would make him a good partner, the Stomper replied: "I'm willing to work to support myself and also do housework. I don't have any bad habits such as smoking, gambling or drinking.
"Maybe you can let the girls who are interested to know me contact me?"
