A man was pinned to the ground by police officers and security personnel outside One Raffles Place on April 17 at about 3pm.

A video of the incident, posted on Facebook, shows at least four police officers restraining the man with the assistance of security staff.

In the footage, the man can be heard shouting in what sounds like a British accent:

"We're gonna kill you really, I don't want these children to come to the house.

"They're children, they're not helping you, they're killing you, they're murdering you."

"I don't want to go to the children, I'm not going to the hospital."

In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed that a 35-year-old man was apprehended under Section 7 of the Mental Health Act.

No injuries were reported.

Reactions online were mixed, with one commenter speculating that the outburst might be related to personal or family issues.
