A man is offering a $10,000 reward for the return of his wife's iPhone.

Stomper Wilson shared the man's appeal on Facebook, stating that the white iPhone 15 Pro Max was lost in a toilet at Ion Orchard shopping mall on Oct 15, at around 2pm.

Facebook user Joseph Phua said the mobile phone was taken on a "trip", moving from Ion Orchard to 21 Terrasse Lane to Punggol East Container Park, then to Block 232C Sumang Lane.

Phua said in his Oct 16 post: "The phone holds our family's photos for the last two years (and is) of great sentimental value to us. We should've backed (them) up but unfortunately we didn't.

"The phone has been locked remotely and its IMEI number has been reported to the police as misappropriated. If an attempt is made to sell the phone anywhere, the police will be notified and it will be tracked down."

Phua said he understood if the person who found the phone was busy and "did not have the time or opportunity to return it yet."

He added: "If you can kindly return the phone to any police station as lost and found, we would be more than happy to not continue to pursue this."

Whoever has found the phone is encouraged to get in touch for "a cash reward of $10,000, no questions asked."

Anyone who has information that leads to the phone's return will also be given a $5,000 reward, said Phua, who added: "We will not stop searching for the phone until its safe return."
