A young man was seen lying on the ground after allegedly vaping at Block 496 Tampines Street 43.

Stomper Anonymous spotted the incident while picking his kids up from school on May 15.

He said: "Some young punks were vaping near a school compound and got high."

"The person who lay on the floor was having trouble standing, and was shaking before going on the floor."

"The one on the bench was stoned."

According to the Health Sciences Authority, e-vaporisers often contain nicotine, which can lead to acute side effects such as increased heart rate, elevated blood pressure, and in severe cases, sweating, nausea, and diarrhoea.

Apart from health risks, nicotine exposure during adolescence can have permanent effects on impulse control, negatively impact the developing brain's ability to learn and focus and lead to mood disorders.

Any person who is convicted of possession, use and purchase of e-vaporisers is liable to a fine not exceeding $2,000.
