# Man injured by falling container at work yard along Refinery Road

A man was injured by a falling metal container at a work yard along Refinery Road today (Jun 23) at around 9.30pm.

In the video, at least four containers can be seen toppled over.

One of the containers fell onto the truck, injuring a man in the process.

Following the accident, workers sat the victim up and cleaned his face with tissue.

Said an SCDF spokesperson in response to a Stomp query:

"SCDF received a call at 9.37am about a man who was injured by a fallen container.

"An ambulance was dispatched and arrived at 9.45am.

"The man was conveyed to NUH."
