Sole disgusting: Man in Toast Box and woman in Starbucks rest their bare feet on furniture
Would you feel comfortable seeing a stranger's bare feet in a coffee shop?
A Stomper was at the Toast Box outlet near Orchard Road when he saw a middle-aged man at a table resting his bare feet on a chair.
A photo shared by the Stomper on June 17 shows the man dressed in office clothes and black Croc-like sandals, which allowed him to remove his footwear easily.
He was holding a pen with one left hand while massaging his shoulder left with his right hand.
"The uncle at Toast Box Scotts Square feeling at home," said the Stomper.
"Please be more considerate and civic-minded."
In a similar incident at a Starbucks outlet in Changi Airport Terminal 3 on June 9, another Stomper saw a woman seated with her bare feet on a table.
A photo shared by the Stomper shows the woman with her earbuds on and flanked by luggage.
"Likely she is a tourist, but no matter which country she is from, this behaviour is unacceptable everywhere," said the Stomper.
