# Man allegedly pees into plastic bag at Kampong Gelam carpark, throws it on the ground and drives off

Nature’s call was apparently too urgent for one man, who purportedly resorted to peeing in a plastic bag at a Kampong Gelam carpark recently.

Instead of discarding the bag properly, a member of the public saw him allegedly toss it to the ground.

The plastic bag later looked like it had burst, leaving a large wet stain on the ground.

## ‘I saw someone doing something funny’

A Stomper who works near the open-air carpark along Pahang Street in Kampong Gelam said he was looking towards the area when he “saw someone doing something funny”.

This prompted him to rush over to the reception counter to grab his phone and record the act.

A clip shared with Stomp shows a man standing facing the rear seats of a silver Honda Shuttle, which has its right-side rear passenger door open.

He appears to be leaning in and holding a clear plastic bag near his groin.

The man looks around cautiously as he carries out all the actions, as though fearful that someone would see him.

Moments later, he pulls on a string with his right hand and twirls it around the bag as if to tie it, much like a food and drink seller does when packing liquid condiments or beverages.

He then tosses the bag, which seems to be filled with a fairly clear liquid, under his car and kicks it towards the rear wheel.

The man subsequently gets into the driver’s seat, at which point the video cuts off.

## Urinating in public a punishable offence

All that was left after he drove off was the plastic bag, seemingly popped and flattened, perhaps from the car’s rear wheel running over it, with a wet mark all around it.

According to the National Environment Agency, urinating in public is an offence under the Environmental Public Health (Public Cleansing) Regulations.

Offenders are liable to a maximum fine of $1,000 for the first conviction.

Littering is also punishable by law, with offenders subjected to a composition amount of $300 for a first offence.
