How did this minibus driver not see cyclist he hit?

A minibus was caught on video running into a cyclist who was cycling in front of it.
The video was posted by Facebook user Jian Hong and Karen yesterday (Feb 13).
It is not clear where this happened but the time stamp on the video says Feb 13 and 8.35am.
It is puzzling how the minibus driver did not see the cyclist as he did not appear to be in any of the vehicle's blind spots.
