Hornbill makes a meal out of caged pet bird in Bukit Purmei
A resident was shocked to see two hornbills preying on a caged pet bird in Bukit Purmei on Monday (Aug 16).
Stomper Ryan shared a video that he took, which shows the bird cage hanging along a corridor at Block 115 Bukit Purmei Road.
One hornbill is perched on the cage, while the second hornbill subsequently reaches into the cage with its beak.
Ryan said: "It ate up the head of our neighbour's pet bird.
"We were scared that our pet baby hamsters would get killed too so we hid them in the room."
