Gucci's new 'luxury' sneakers look like school shoes that haven't been cleaned in ages

Fashion is one of the most influential industries in the world.

However, some people are so quick to follow trends blindly that they do not realise how ridiculous some of thes 'fashionable' items are.

After Maison Margiela's $1,985 shoes that looked like someone's pet dog chewed at them, now comes Gucci's latest sneaker...and they look like your old Batas you haven't washed in months.

These dirty-looking shoes made their debut as part of the fashion house's Resort 2018 collection.

The prices have not been officially released but fashion lovers can expect these to cost up to $1,725.
