A GrabFood rider on a personal mobility device (PMD) was caught on video crashing into a Foodpanda delivery guy riding a bicycle at the junction of Tampines Avenue 5 and Tampines Avenue 4 on Sunday morning (Oct 6).

In a video posted on SG Road Vigilante's Facebook group page, the GrabFood rider clips the side of the Foodpanda cyclist at a zebra crossing, causing him to fall to the ground.

He stops for a second to turn back but shortly moves off as if nothing happened.

Fortunately, several pedestrians crossing the road stop to help the Foodpanda delivery guy by picking up his bike and his belongings as he rose to his feet.

Several netizens have called the incident a 'hit-and-run' and demanded PMDs be banned.

Last month, a 65-year-old female cyclist died in hospital after she was knocked into by a non-compliant PMD at Bedok North.
