It rained that day.
Funan has cordoned off the North Bridge Road entrance to basement carpark after several vehicles skidded into the wall going down the long ramp to the carpark.
A video of a motorcyclist toppling over on his bike was posted by SG Road Vigilante.
Photos of cars with their left front bumper damaged also circulated online.
In response to a Stomp query, a Funan spokesperson said the mall was alerted to "an incident involving several cars" at the carpark on the evening of May 14.
"As a safety precaution, the affected areas and the carpark entrance at North Bridge Road were immediately cordoned off. No one was injured," added the spokesperson.
"The safety and well-being of our shoppers are of utmost importance. We are investigating the cause of the incident and are providing the necessary assistance to the affected drivers."
Shoppers are advised to access the Funan carpark via Hill Street.
"We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused," said the spokesperson.
