Flames engulf two cars after six-vehicle accident on PIE
Five cars and a taxi were involved in an accident on the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) on Feb 27.
Stomper Grace shared with Stomp a TikTok video showing two of the cars engulfed in flames.
In response to Stomp queries, the police and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted to the accident near Paya Lebar Flyover at about 10.15pm.
SCDF extinguished the fire using a water jet.
No injuries were reported and police investigations are ongoing.
In response to media queries, taxi operator ComfortDelGro said they are aware of the accident involving a taxi from the company.
"There were no passengers on board at the time of the incident, and our cabby was uninjured," a spokesperson said.
"We will be assisting the police in their investigations."
