Flames consume 4th-floor flat at Bukit Batok East Ave 4, man taken to hospital
A fire broke out in a fourth-floor flat at Block 262 Bukit Batok East Avenue 4 on Wednesday (April 4) at around 3.46pm.
Stomper Faizal witnessed the fire, took a video and sent it to Stomp.
In the video, black smoke can be seen billowing from the unit, while flames erupted from a window.
In response to a Stomp query, a police spokesman said:
"On April 4, 2018, the police were alerted to a case of fire at a unit in Block 262 Bukit Batok East Avenue 4.
"A 45-year-old man was unconscious when conveyed to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital for treatment.
"Police investigations are ongoing."
