# Fight spills out of Woodlands school football field into neighbouring carpark, obstructing traffic

Stomper Fishfrenzy2526 was driving into an open-air carpark in Woodlands when he saw a group of men in football jerseys walking out of a school football field, right into his path.

Some appeared to be hurrying away, while a few seemed to be holding one or two men back, even pulling a man by his jersey.

Concerned that a big fight was going to break out, the Stomper drove away to avoid a run-in with the group.

## Men in football jerseys rush out of school field into carpark

Dashcam footage shared with Stomp shows Fishfrenzy2526’s vehicle entering the open-air carpark at Block 805 Woodlands Street 81 at about 6.34pm on Nov 1.

Just as he approaches a school field on the right, a few men in football jerseys are seen rushing out the gates. Two of them appear to bounce on their feet, as if readying themselves for a fight.

More men then spill out onto the carpark, with one in white visibly pulling another man in a purple jersey, likely to hold him back.

Chaos erupts as the men start chasing each other, some with arms raised and fingers pointing around. While the video is muted, the scene is ostensibly tense, judging by the men’s urgent interactions.

The clip ends soon after without showing how the confrontation concludes.

According to Fishfrenzy2526, the police arrived shortly after as he “heard sirens and saw two patrol cars”.

Stomp understands that the incident did not result in any injuries.

## Fight could have led to an accident

When asked if he had seen the men in the area before, Fishfrenzy2526 said he was aware of different groups of people playing football at the school field on weekends.

He claimed that these groups would often loiter at the void deck across the school field.

This incident in particular worried him because of the potential danger it entailed. The Stomper noted: “The group could have caused an accident, putting motorists in danger while trying to avoid them, and endangering themselves too.

“Shocking that such a big group is allowed to participate in contact sports without supervision or authority. This is very poorly managed by the school.”

Stomp has reached out to the school for comment.
