Explosions heard as fire erupts in Bedok North carpark
A fire broke out at Block 504 Bedok North Street 3 on June 1.
Stomper Anonymous witnessed the raging fire at 7.23pm.
He said: "We heard explosions, and when we came out from our unit, there was already a very big fire."
"There were about two to three fire trucks. I'm not sure what started it. The cars were burned down."
Following a Stomp query, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that they were alerted to the fire at about 7.15pm.
The fire involved one car, but the vehicle parked next to it was also charred.
SCDF extinguished the fire using a hosereel and a compressed air foam backpack.
There were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
