Excavator falls off trailer truck outside Bedok condo construction site, MOM looking into incident
An excavator fell off a trailer truck outside a condominium construction site in Bedok Central on the morning of July 9.
Stomper An shared a brief video of the aftermath of the incident near the former Bedok Point mall at around 11.45am.
The mall was demolished in 2022 to make way for a new residential development by Keong Hong Holdings called Sky Eden@Bedok, which is under constrution
In response to a Stomp query, a spokesperson for Keong Hong Holdings said: "On July 9, an incident occurred at the Sky Eden@Bedok worksite involving an excavator that fell off a trailer truck outside the site.
"There were no injuries related to this incident. The recovery of the excavator was completed successfully on the same day.
"An incident report has been submitted to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) for their records and review."
When contacted by Stomp, an MOM spokesperson said the ministry is looking into the incident.
