Stomper Lau Lup spotted a group of snails on a pavement near Block 2 of Jalan Kukoh on July 18.
However, what made his latest discovery so interesting was that he noticed the snails' hearts beating.
Said the Stomper:
"I did not realise that snails have a beating heart like us until then
"This discovery reminds me of this Chinese adage, '麻雀虽小 五脏俱全' (meaning 'although a sparrow is small, it has all five vital organs')!
"I noticed that the number of snails' heartbeat is lower than a human's."
