Duo allegedly use broom to cover camera before taking Nike shoes from outside Bukit Merah flat
Two youths allegedly stole two pairs of Nike shoes from outside a flat at Block 107 Jalan Bukit Merah in the early hours of June 19.
Stomper Justin told Stomp that the boys were caught on camera loitering near his unit and inspecting the footwear left outside.
He added that they were first caught on CCTV On June 18 at about 10.40pm.
"Here! This is them coming for a 'site recce'," he said, referring to a clip of the duo peering at his shoe rack.
The alleged thefts then occurred later at 2.42am and 2.47am.
Justin shared another clip, explaining "If you look at the level below, the lift lobby is within sight. They took a lift to level 10, came up from the other side through the stairs and covered the CCTV with a broom."

"Both shoes cost about $400 in total," he shared.
He added that he has since made a police report.
"I'm hoping that anyone who knows them or sees them will get in touch," he said.
In response to a Stomp query, the police confirmed a report was lodged and investigations are ongoing.
