Stomper Jasper and Anonymous alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos of the tree lying across a zebra crossing.

The incident happened during rainy weather in the area.

Jasper was stuck on the side of the crossing where there is a dead end and took a photo of the scene at about 11.10am

Anonymous said: "Police had put tape up blocking access to the road as workers cleared the tree and its debris.

"The road was cleared and the tape was removed by about 12.10pm."
