# Cyclist flashes middle finger at Stomper after changing lanes along Yishun Ave 1

A motorist was left frustrated after encountering a cyclist who allegedly flashed his middle finger while riding along Yishun Avenue 1 on Oct 26.

Stomper Tan shared dashcam footage of the incident, which occurred at about 7.40am near the junction with Yishun Avenue 2.

In the video, the cyclist can be seen moving from the leftmost lane across to the third lane from the left.

He then turns towards the Stomper’s vehicle and raises his middle finger while continuing to cycle.

Tan described the cyclist as “reckless and arrogant”, claiming that he was riding in the middle of active traffic instead of keeping to the left side of the road.

“When encountered, he turned around and aggressively flashed his middle finger at my vehicle while continuing to occupy the lane,” the Stomper said.

Tan expressed concern that the cyclist’s behaviour could endanger both himself and other road users.

“This dangerous behaviour poses a serious safety hazard to both the cyclist and motorists,” he said.

“I am sharing this dashcam video to highlight such irresponsible road behaviour in our neighbourhood.”
