A 15-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital after he was hit by a car in Punggol on Feb 15.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to an accident involving a car and a bicycle along Tebing Lane towards Edgedale Plains at about 1.30pm.
The cyclist was conscious when taken to hospital.
"A 22-year-old car driver is assisting with investigations," police added.
A video posted on Facebook shows the cyclist getting knocked down by a car. The impact sends his bicycle flying. The teenager is seen getting up after the accident.
The person who shared the video identified himself as the car driver's friend and said the cyclist had run a red light, resulting in the car driver not being able to stop in time.
The person also asked: "Anyone can advise what usually happens in a case like this?"
