Commuters resting their feet on bus seats: Aunty stretches her legs across aisle on double decker
Talk about getting a leg up.
Bus passengers putting their feet on seats are a common sight, judging by the number of photos of such incidents shared by Stompers.
Here's one shared by Stomper Y of an uncle on bus service 175.
Stomper Chua shared a photo of a "selfish" man on bus service 33 and added: "He was nonchalant about his behavior, even though I stared at his legs."
Sharing a photo of another male passenger on bus service 158, Stomper Margaret said: "I saw this inconsiderate man not only left his bag on the seat opposite him, but he also rested his feet with his shoes on the seat as well.
"What selfish and inconsiderate behaviour!"
Stomper Tomato shared a photo of a female bus passenger to make a different point.
She said: "Pertaining to recent postings on commuters misbehaving on bus rides, I'd like to debunk the myth that only elderly commuters behaved badly.
"Here's a photo of a young and educated commuter who rested her feet on the seat opposite to hers. She completely ignored the signage reminding commuters not to rest their feet on seats.
"Perhaps ill-behaved commuters should be shamed publicly by displaying photos of their bad acts in bus interchanges! It is time for bus companies to empower bus captains to discipline all ill-behaved commuters."
Taking it to the next level both figuratively and literally, Stomper L shared a video of an aunty on bus service 166 on Sept 22, showing her stretching her legs across the aisle on the mostly empty upper level of the double-decker bus.
As a bonus, the feet of a man can be seen hanging off the seat opposite the woman as the man appeared to be lying down on the seat at the end of the video.
