# Car with covered windscreen shaking vigorously at Jurong East raises suspicions of ‘intimate behaviour’

A car was spotted shaking vigorously with its engine running at an open-air carpark in Jurong East in the early afternoon, leaving a curious witness wondering what was happening inside.

Stomper Shuxian said the incident happened on Oct 27 at about 1.30pm at the furthest parking lot in the carpark at Block 210 Jurong East Street 21.

She told Stomp that she heard the SsangYong Tivoli’s engine still running as she walked towards her own vehicle.

After getting into her car, she noticed the neighbouring vehicle shaking vigorously.

Shuxian then exited her car and recorded a video of the brown SsangYong vehicle.

Shuxian said its front windscreen was covered, making it difficult to see what was happening inside.

According to her, the vehicle was a familiar sight at the carpark, where she had noticed it parking on weekdays — typically between 11am and 3pm.

When asked how she felt about what she had witnessed on Oct 27, Shuxian replied: “I personally don’t feel anything as it’s quite normal. As long as the car is covered, people can’t see inside and we can’t confront them as they are inside the car.”

“So long as the car covered the front (windscreen), engine (is turned) on and the vehicle is shaking vigorously... confirm is doing such thing in the car,” Shuxian added, referring to the possibility of intimate behaviour occurring.

She added that she had come across similar sightings at West Coast Park and East Coast Park, but “never” in an open carpark near a police station — and “right beside” her own car.

## Friend shares video with Stomp

While Shuxian recorded the footage, her friend Sharon was the one who shared it with Stomp. Throughout the brief clip, a brown SsangYong Tivoli can be seen rocking from side to side.

A sun shade on the windscreen prevented Shuxian from seeing what was happening, though she subsequently shared a photo of the same vehicle without the covered windscreen.

Sharon also believes that there were two individuals in the car engaging in “sexual activity in a public area”.

“I am sharing this footage with Stomp... to raise awareness about public behaviour and consideration for others who may be using the same space,” said Sharon.
