Car catches fire at carpark of Bedok Block 167
A car caught fire at the carpark of Block 167, Bedok South Avenue 3 yesterday (Aug 22) at around 5pm.
In response to media queries by Stomp, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it dispatched two fire engines and two fire bikes to the scene.
The fire was extinguished by SCDF using a hose reel.
No injuries were reported.
Stomper Ivan shared with Stomp three Facebook videos of the incident, from when the fire was still raging till after SCDF personnel put it out, while netizen Edmund Tan also posted pictures from the scene.
It is unclear how the fire started.
