Bride gets emotional over curry in heartfelt yet hilarious wedding speech
Most brides tear up while thanking their family or friends during wedding speeches -- but one bride went viral for getting emotional over... curry.
In a TikTok video posted by @bokboken.wedding, the bride is seen wiping her tears as she thanks her loved ones during a speech at her wedding.
"Special thanks to my aunt who watched me grow up, your taro rice is so delicious," she says, her voice quivering with emotion.
"Your curry is also delicious.
"And speaking of curry and my new grandma, Zhi Cong's grandma, your curry is also delicious!"
The video pans to guests who are clearly amused, laughing along as the bride shares her love for food.
The TikTok clip is captioned: "Ever love curry so much it made you wanna cry."
It has since garnered over 160,000 views.
Stomper Vera, who alerted Stomp to the video, said: "Saw this video on TikTok. It's funny because this is maybe how Asian parents or relatives show love... through food."
Netizens were equally tickled by the bride's sincerity and sense of humour.
