AHTC: Eggs and flour smeared all over Hougang void deck is 'inconsiderate and very unhygienic'
The Aljunied-Hougang Town Council (AHTC) has responded to an incident where broken eggs and flour were spotted smeared on the floor and walls of the void deck of a block in Hougang on Sunday (July 26).
Stomper Francesca alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos of the mess at the void deck of Block 306 Hougang Avenue 5.
"I was walking past the block in the morning and was greeted with eggs and flour smeared all over the floor and walls," she said.
In response to a Stomp query, a spokesman from the town council said they were alerted to the incident and activated their conservancy cleaners to clear and wash the area that same morning.
"This is an act of inconsideration and is very unhygienic," the spokesman said.
The Town Council will be putting up advisory notices against such acts.
