80-year-old woman unconscious after getting hit by pickup truck at Sims Avenue
An 80-year-old pedestrian was left unconscious after she was hit by a pickup truck in Geylang on Wednesday afternoon (July 15).
The police were alerted to the accident along Sims Avenue, towards Sims Avenue East and after Lorong 13 Geylang, at 1.11pm, they said in response to Stomp queries.
The elderly woman was unconscious when taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
A photo contributed by Stomper Ga816 shows the pedestrian lying on the road while being attended to by paramedics.
Ga816 said: "The pedestrian seemed to have been crossing the road to the opposite side when she got hit by a truck.
"There was blood all over the road."
Police investigations are ongoing.
