Two people were sent to the hospital after an accident involving a car and a motorcycle at the junction of Woodlands Avenue 3 and Woodlands Street 13 yesterday morning (Feb 27).

A photo showing a woman, believed to be one of the accident victims, sitting on the road has been circulating online.

Two men stood around her and a motorcycle can be seen lying on its side nearby.

Responding to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 8.45am.

A 53-year-old male motorcyclist and his 18-year-old female pillion rider were conscious when conveyed to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital (KTPH).

Police investigations are ongoing.
