51-year-old man arrested for allegedly molesting 15-year-old girl at Bishan Park

A 51-year-old man was arrested for allegedly molesting a 15-year-old girl in Bishan Park.
After being alerted to the incident on Aug 28 at about 4.22pm, officers from Tanglin Police Division conducted follow-up investigations and managed to establish the identity of the man.
He was subsequently arrested on the same day.
The man will be charged in court on Aug 30 with outrage of modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224.
Anyone convicted for the offence of outrage of modesty under Section 354(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 224 shall be punished with an imprisonment term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with caning, or with any combination of such punishments.
