50-year-old woman arrested after seen sitting on window ledge at Waterloo HDB block

A 50-year-old woman was arrested after a person was spotted sitting on a window ledge at Block 264 Waterloo Street.

A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and contributed a video and photos of what he saw.

The video shows a person scaling down a wall and a picture shows a woman sitting on a window ledge.

Police officers and personnel from the Singapore Civil Defence Force were also at the scene.

"At 7.52pm on Thursday (Oct 17), the police were alerted to a case of attempted suicide at Block 264 Waterloo Street.

"A 50-year-old woman was arrested in relation to the case.

"Police investigations are ongoing."
