Three people were taken to hospital after an accident involving two cars in Ang Mo Kio on May 9.

The police told Stomp that they were alerted to the accident at the junction of Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8 and Ang Mo Kio Central 2 at around 7.25pm.

"Two female car passengers, aged 9 and 12, and a 30-year-old male car driver were conveyed conscious to the hospital," they added.

Two male car drivers, aged 30 and 41, are assisting with investigations.

Stomper Rohaizat shared a video showing a silver car mounting the pedestrian walkway and a grey car, which had its front bumper badly mangled, on the road.

Paramedics can be seen attending to injured people, including children, at the scene. An ambulance can be spotted further down the road.

Police investigations are ongoing.
