18-year-old youth found dead at foot of Punggol block

An 18-year-old man was found dead at the foot of Block 130 Punggol Walk on early Monday morning (June 8).

The police told Stomp that they were alerted to the case of unnatural death at 6.50am.

The youth was found lying motionless at the foot of block and was pronounced dead at scene by a paramedic, said a police spokesman.

Several readers alerted Stomp to videos that have been circulating on social media, showing a police tent and officers at the scene.

Police are investigating the incident.

Stomp understands that the cause of death is unclear as investigations are ongoing.
