"The van was a quarter on fire at first, but in five to eight minutes, the whole van was on fire," said Anonymous.

"There were a few mini explosions from the van."

She said a Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) red rhino arrived first, followed by a fire engine.

In response to a Stomp query , the SCDF said it was alerted to the fire at about 6.40pm and extinguished it using a water jet.
